A、nature.。. readable B、quality.。. prevalent
C、timelessness.。. understandable
D、applicability.。. eloquent E、volume.。. valuable
這個(gè)空的第二個(gè)選valuable是我比較確定的。比readable和其他的要好，但是第一個(gè)空對(duì)volume想不通，但是又不能說(shuō)這個(gè)詞肯定錯(cuò)，只能說(shuō)不懂。這個(gè)nature看來(lái)好象有點(diǎn)通，但是又不是最好的，因?yàn)檫@個(gè)nature是萬(wàn)能詞匯，很多地方可用。怎么辦，許多時(shí)候我們的思維便開(kāi)始保守。這個(gè)volume不懂什么意思，干脆就選a吧。Readable似乎也通。而且煞有介事的給readable找了一些成立的理由。
這是一個(gè)思維的誤區(qū)。一定要記住。對(duì)valuable這樣幾乎必對(duì)的詞要優(yōu)先選擇。除非在你把整個(gè)句子透徹理解的情況下完全排除了他的搭檔的可能性。否則在句意一團(tuán)模糊的情況下，優(yōu)先選擇自己還比較拿得準(zhǔn)的。這樣賭成功率大。
例2：It is no accident that most people find Davis’ book disturbing， for it is -- ---- to undermine a number beliefs they have long -------
A、calculated..cherished B、annotated..assimilated
C、intended..denied D、anxious..misunderstood
E、reputed.。. anticipated
這個(gè)空也一樣，只有cherished比較肯定，邏輯和語(yǔ)感都符合，但是第一個(gè)空不知所云，這里的calculated的意思絕非計(jì)算這么簡(jiǎn)單，自己的功力不能解出，那么，放棄這個(gè)空嗎?這么好的cherished難道就放棄了嗎?看看其他的，CE肯定不對(duì)，因?yàn)橐馑疾粚?duì)。B這個(gè)詞由于自己不太理解所以顯得似乎可能正確，而前面的annotated也讓我糊涂;D的anxious似乎有點(diǎn)門(mén)道，但是misunderstood不是特別通，但是如果勉強(qiáng)可能有點(diǎn)點(diǎn)通。
怎么辦，肯定要蒙了。這時(shí)候最怕思維方式就是為這個(gè)misunderstood存在找理由，從而迎合前面的anxious，于是似乎很完美的解決了這個(gè)空，這其實(shí)是人的一種本能的完型心理，或者說(shuō)溺水人要抓救命稻草的心理，尤其是那些不太自信的應(yīng)試者。這時(shí)往往是陣腳大亂，完全不是憑理性而是憑自己的想象力來(lái)作題。所以克服了這種心理，你遇到摸棱兩可的題目答對(duì)的幾率會(huì)猛長(zhǎng)。
這時(shí)你面臨的情況是這樣的，cherished是完美的。但是calculated死活想不通是什么意思。而那個(gè)misunderstood加入自己的一些想入非非后竟然顯得有些象正確答案。這時(shí)，一定要沉住氣，大膽選cherished。記住，ets的思維是簡(jiǎn)單直接力求完美的，有cherished在，除非有和 cherished一樣完美的答案，否則就不會(huì)象許多中國(guó)老師一樣故意找一些似是而非的東西迷惑你，我們受這些老師的影響太深，所以在考慮問(wèn)題的時(shí)候免不了要多繞一個(gè)彎。一定要克服這個(gè)誤區(qū)。希望大家多找些類似的例句，看看這個(gè)規(guī)律是不是存在。
