很多考生都會覺得GRE填空不考語法。事實上,GRE考試不考語法是真,但是并不代表其對考生的語法知識沒有要求。如果說詞匯是建構語言的材料,那么語法就是建構語言的基本規(guī)則。對語法知識缺乏起碼的理解和掌握,很容易導致在閱讀一段文字時毫無生詞但難以理解整體句意,其結果則是答題時難以下手。這一點對GRE閱讀和填空來說都是成立的。
實際上,GRE填空中所出現(xiàn)的語法知識,我們在初高中的時候已經學習了,所以考生做一定的回顧復習就可以了。
問題二、憑一己之見作為解題依據(jù)
GRE填空是推理題,也就是說考生需要根據(jù)題目中已知的信息推斷出答案,所以考生不能夠根據(jù)自己的生活經驗、價值觀、所學知識基礎作為解題的線索和依據(jù)。如果利用題干之外的信息推理判斷空格所填內容,很容易陷入個人經驗和好惡的聯(lián)想和解釋,從而得出完全錯誤的答案。因此考生在做填空題的時候,切忌用題干以外的任何內容作為解題依據(jù),必須牢記一點:所有的解題線索能且僅能來自題干本身。
