一、GRE單詞的特殊性
GRE 大部分的單詞，以認識為主，這個“大部分”可以達到95%。這種特性決定了記單詞方法絕不同于以往被四六級或是托福雅思詞匯的模式。特別是四六級單詞有認、寫、用三個維度的要求。而GRE單詞基本只有“認”這一個維度。針對這種模式，我想把一下一些TIPS分享給大家。
二、背GRE單詞的幾個誤區(qū)
1, 1+1=2?
很多人總覺得每次背一個小時分兩次背，和一次背兩個小時的效果是一樣的。其實完全不同。要明確一個問題，我們知道背單詞是一個不斷重復的過程，重在“重復”，而不是單個單詞的持續(xù)時間。
舉個例子，一個單詞如encyclopedia (百科全書)，你今天看了一個小時，然后在接下去的一周，你不去看它，和你把這個單詞，今天只看了10秒，在今后的一個禮拜，你每天看他一次，那種效果更好?
2, 備考時間越長效果越好?
很多人覺得GRE單詞難，為了更好記住，就把戰(zhàn)線拉的很長。個人認為，這種做法不可取。一是戰(zhàn)線過長很容易造成疲憊期，二是戰(zhàn)線過長導致前面的單詞遺忘率很高。所以建議短戰(zhàn)線集中火力攻破單詞。其實一天200個已經(jīng)算正常速度了，我當時一天能達到300+。
有時候得對自己狠一點，21天可以形成一個良好的習慣，背單詞也是如此，可以給自己定一個目標，達成之后給一些獎勵，慢慢你會發(fā)現(xiàn)，其實你愛上了背單詞。
三，背單詞量和復習過程
我自己在背GRE的時候，每天生詞300+，然后保持一天三個小時左右的時間量。這個大家自己可以根據(jù)所要背得單詞量所調(diào)整，但切記，戰(zhàn)線不要太長!
我發(fā)現(xiàn)，不管每次自己背了多少單詞，記憶的百分比是差不多的，第一次可能全部刷完之后，達到30%左右，已經(jīng)很好了。所以，要不斷重復，重復重復再重復，加強記憶!如果一個單詞不能瞬間反應出意思，則這個單詞相當于沒記住。
下面是一個時長30天的背詞計劃，按照《要你命3000》詞匯書規(guī)劃，每天兩個List。我覺得很有用，如果每天嚴格執(zhí)行，詞匯量一定會有質(zhì)的飛躍。至于細化到每一天應該怎么背我后面會說。
四、背GRE單詞工具推薦
1, 便利貼&一面墻
在背單詞初期，我選擇把不記得的詞用粗記號筆寫很大寫在便利貼上，把便利貼貼在房間的墻上，一抬頭就可以看見的地方。一個月下來，那面墻密密麻麻貼滿了便利貼，不得不說，這種重復記憶的方法真的很有用!
具體操作：
我每天大概有4個小時是花在單詞上的，但是會分成四次。是1.5+0.5+.5+0.5這樣的模式。我的宗旨是，少時多次，事實證明很有用，這比一次背兩三個小時有用很多。根據(jù)注意力集中曲線，這也是很科學的。
一大早起床先進行一個半小時的單詞學習，每個單詞用心去記，注意詞根詞綴，大概記200個單詞左右。
等上午學習結(jié)束(或者下午學習開始之前)，花一小時再認真把這200個詞過幾遍，這一次肯定還會有很多詞記不得，沒關(guān)系，著重去記這些比較模糊的詞。
下午學習結(jié)束后，去健身之前，我會再花一個小時鞏固，這第三輪下來基本可以做到無障礙。
晚上睡覺前再看一遍，這一邊用掃視，迅速地掃一遍發(fā)現(xiàn)都認識，ok那么關(guān)燈睡覺，還有不認識的，那么便利貼就登場了!
2, Excel
后期可用Excel迅速過單詞。
一手按在數(shù)字上，一手按在【↓】鍵上。會的單詞空著，不認識就按1
過完后對該列排序，選擇降序
那些經(jīng)常不懂的單詞就會排在前面
如果想要亂序背單詞的話，也可以用Excel。
下拉到全部單詞，然后點擊排序所有單詞就會亂序排列
五，背GRE單詞常用方法
1, 詞根，詞綴記憶
我主推的是詞根，詞綴記憶其實單詞和漢字一樣擁有自己的偏旁部首，很多詞根詞綴可以記住單詞的褒貶義，這對于感情色彩題很好用，尤其在GRE中。知道詞的正負性對做題很有幫助，起碼一半的詞匯題可以迎刃而解。把擁有相同詞根詞綴的詞放在一起記，可以提高記詞效率且不易混淆，這是目前為止我認為最科學的記憶方式。
例如 ：monopoly 壟斷，mono-這個詞綴就有單一的意思，比如monotomous,單調(diào)的意思，還有monograph 專著，"-graph"也是一個詞根表示“記錄的東西”，有這個又可以有一系列以graph為詞根的單詞，如photograph 有照片的意思，含有“記錄”意思。
通過上面的例子，可以看出單詞其實也和漢字一樣，美妙且有趣。
2, 聯(lián)想記憶法(胡編亂造記憶法)
這個方法，在某種階段的確有用。也是xdf某派別老師一直推崇的。但在我看來，這種方法只適用于單詞啟蒙階段，把一個單詞弄得支離破碎，只知其長相，不知道來源，很不科學。而背單詞應該是一個系統(tǒng)且整體的過程，因此我并不推薦它。
3, 分類記憶
托福雅思考試中，我們經(jīng)常把單詞分為聽力閱讀寫作口語場景詞來記憶。但GRE會有一些差別，因為單詞都比較高大上，口語和寫作中很難用得上(大神除外，用上必然是加分項)，所以只要做到認識即可。我建議按V和Q分類記憶，可以先背V，具體打亂背，或是按照詞匯和閱讀分類，就看個人喜好了。Q可以等臨近考試準備開始刷數(shù)學時在集中時間背。
