GRE 不同于托福、雅思等語(yǔ)言考試，其以為大學(xué)研究生院選拔合格的候選人為目的，著重于考查學(xué)生潛在的學(xué)習(xí)能力。面對(duì) GRE，已經(jīng)開(kāi)始備考的同學(xué)一定知道，最大的難關(guān)、也是最重要的基礎(chǔ)部分之一就是單詞。從某種程度上來(lái)說(shuō)，GRE 高分是非常依賴(lài)于詞匯量的。在背單詞這件事上，不要以為只有你自己背了就忘，絕大多數(shù)人在記憶過(guò)程中都會(huì)有遺忘，而且這個(gè)比率通常高達(dá)20%，也就是說(shuō)即使你很用心的背了10個(gè)單詞，轉(zhuǎn)眼忘掉2個(gè)單詞也是人之常情。然而同樣是20%這樣一個(gè)概率，基數(shù)的不同則會(huì)導(dǎo)致結(jié)果的不同，背10個(gè) GRE 單詞和背100個(gè) GRE 單詞成效自然不同。

其實(shí)100個(gè) GRE 單詞看似很多，但是如果分組來(lái)背誦，其實(shí)也沒(méi)什么。例如這樣分配者100個(gè) GRE 單詞：上午30個(gè) GRE 單詞，中午10個(gè) GRE 單詞，下午30個(gè) GRE 單詞，晚飯后再背30個(gè) GRE 單詞。這樣一來(lái)，每天輕松拿下100個(gè) GRE 單詞。

更重要的是在背誦的時(shí)候，不要過(guò)于糾結(jié)是否真的記下來(lái)了。邊看單詞邊默念讀音，看過(guò)后做回憶，如果回憶不成功，再重復(fù)看。首次背單詞的主要目的是“混個(gè)臉熟”，留下大概的印象。起碼再次見(jiàn)到時(shí)，大部分單詞還是可以成功回憶起來(lái)的
