正式準備一個月,前十天因為心情十分浮躁,基本上是玩過了。后二十天開始每天泡圖書館準備。每天大概是7:30 起床,24:30睡覺,中午在圖書館還睡一個小時。 建議大家不要學我,晚上十二點之后睡覺對智商是有損害的。
首先說單詞
很重要!必須每天刷!一定要hold住到底!整個verbal就靠單詞!
我背單詞用了三千+新紅寶,每本各刷了10遍左右,除了第一遍認真背了,其他都是快速過。最后記憶率大概有80%多吧。
此外我還用了網(wǎng)上一份資料叫 "GRE琦叔單詞串講分類整理小紙條版",感覺很有用。但是需要注意的是里面有一些錯誤。
填空
先說參考書:OG+陳圣元的那本,但是需要說明的是這本書的精華在于每道題的解釋,題目比真題簡單了好多倍。
最后總結(jié)出來的方法:
1、嚴格找重復,這個重復可能不僅僅是句子內(nèi)部,還有可能是句子之間
2、還有重要的一點是根據(jù)英文的總分表達習慣選詞,GRE的題目很多都是首句總說一個細節(jié),后面跟著幾句解釋。
準備過程:單詞大概過了5遍的時候開始準備填空。
陳圣元一共做了45套,每套計時大概6Min 錯誤率一般在兩個以下,一開時候的時候很開心,后來用了PP2??迹l(fā)現(xiàn)真題比陳圣元難了好幾個等級!所以大家一定不能掉以輕心,其實解題原則是一樣的只是真題的迷惑性更大。總之嚴格找重復,就對了。
閱讀
參考書:1、陳虎平36套,只做了一遍,感覺是文章和真題差不多,但是每個問題的題干比較繞。
2、長難句的分析推薦上小站,上面的長難句訓練資料很贊。我開始做閱讀之前大概分析了200個句子,后來在長難句上基本沒有遇到過問題。(如果你長難句有問題,這里有一個小原則:無論什么樣的句子,首先找主謂賓)
3、OG
方法:功能導向型閱讀。具體的方法是 絕不跳讀 1、首句一定要讀懂!不一定是主旨句,但是通過這句話你能知道這個文章在說什么。 2、讀完每一句話要主動去想,作者的態(tài)度是什么、下面可能要說什么、這句話的功能是什么。 這樣讀文章才能對整個文章的脈絡、作者態(tài)度的走向有個清晰的把握 3、對于細節(jié)部分,如果你猜對了這個細節(jié)的功能,那么可以略讀(注意只是快速讀,不是跳過不讀),但是要對其中涉及到的事物(可能是人名、事件或某個物品)有印象,方便定位。
準備過程 : 長難句分析大概做了200個,之后開始做36套,第一套計時30min 全對。
后來發(fā)現(xiàn)自己做的好慢,于是開始每篇計時訓練(大家做題的時候最好用讀秒那個功能,不要用倒計時),期望的目標是平均每個題目1.5min,但是最終只有短文章達到這個程度,長文章時間穩(wěn)定在9min, 邏輯題大概2min /道。
36套上面的每個題都能找到解釋!我每完成一個練習都會把文章的結(jié)構畫一遍,不管這個文章有沒有做對。
問題:1、該不該記筆記。這個我覺著因人而異,我是從來不記的,不記筆記都做不完。而且我覺得你讀完一個句子把它的功能記在腦子里面比寫下來耗時少。
2、答題的時候用不用定位回原文。我的原則是,定位,這樣準確率比較高。
3、36套多長時間做一套。 我到最后都是20min左右汗啊我也不知道大牛們是怎么壓到15、16分的,但是對我來說要保證正確率這個就是極限了。最后到考場上的情況是30min的時間剛好夠用。
數(shù)學
一把辛酸淚啊!!只做了OG、PP2上面的數(shù)學題,??即蟾啪?67、169 最后竟然考了165。
唯一的感覺就是真題比??茧y,我每個section都是卡著時間做完的。
藥學專業(yè)大三line 兩年沒碰過數(shù)學如果你的情況跟我相仿請不要忽視數(shù)學。
說說考試吧
GRE考試的時候請千萬控制自己的感情整個考試過程最好不要有任何心理活動,不要猜是不是適應到easy了,不要想是不是遇到verbal加試了之類之類的。這點本人深刻檢討,VQVQV 第一個Q做完之后就感覺做的很不好,直接導致第二個Q做的時候還在想是不是第一個做的不好,大家千萬不要這樣。
總結(jié)一下我的原則
1、充足睡眠。短時間備考的特別不建議每天睡5個小時啥的有損智商。
2、 單詞是重中之重,說的極端點,你寧可完全不準備閱讀和填空,也要把單詞刷到10遍以上。單詞達到一定的熟練程度之后,verbal就是一個純智商問題。
3、不要忽視數(shù)學!
這個成績樓主本人還是比較能接受的,雖然沒過330很怨念,但是起碼不會成為短板。樓主已經(jīng)過了追求完美的那個年紀,GRE成績不代表全部,申請的過程推薦信、PS、GPA啥的可能更重要,沒有必要過于執(zhí)念。請各位放松心情上考場,樓主為你們祈禱哈。
