雅思聽力考試的選擇題有三種考查形式：單選、雙選/多選育matching。從近幾年的出題來看，matching題有日益“增重”的趨勢。本文主要分析雅思聽力單選題的出題原則與解題技巧。
那么在雅思聽力單項(xiàng)選擇題的考試中，一般會(huì)考查大家的是兩個(gè)點(diǎn)，一是paraphrase，第二是考查大家排除干擾項(xiàng)的能力了。
在題目剛開始的地方，是會(huì)給出例題的，那么我們可以根據(jù)例題的答案來推斷全文的基調(diào)，從而排除choices中明顯錯(cuò)誤的選項(xiàng)。比如說在劍4，Test 1的Section3(一下簡稱4-1-3)，文章講的是一個(gè)叫做Melanie的學(xué)生跟她的導(dǎo)師說明自己因?yàn)槭裁礃拥脑蚨鴽]有開始自己的寫作任務(wù)，然后導(dǎo)師給出了她可以請假的理由這么一件事情。題目給出的例子是這樣的：
Melanie could not borrow any books from the library because
A. The librarian was out.
B. She didn’t have time to look.
C. The books had already been borrowed.
答案給出的是C選項(xiàng)，也就是說Melanie沒有借到書的原因是因?yàn)閳D書館里相關(guān)的書籍已經(jīng)都被借走了。那么下面一題緊接著就是問：

在錄音還沒有開始，我們在審題的時(shí)候就會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)，例子中說Melanie因?yàn)閳D書館中的書都已經(jīng)被借走了所以沒有借到任何的書，也就是暗示了她在圖書館中進(jìn)行了資料的查閱工作了，那么跟第21題中C選項(xiàng)所說的沒有在圖書館里spend time是矛盾的，所以我們就可以首先把這一選項(xiàng)給排除掉。
第二個(gè)進(jìn)行prediction的方法是根據(jù)題目進(jìn)行預(yù)測，具體就是一是跟據(jù)questions之間的提示排除錯(cuò)誤的選項(xiàng)。比如說在劍4的第58頁有這樣一道題，是租房場景，這是雅思聽力中常考的場景，大家要進(jìn)行相關(guān)詞匯的掌握訓(xùn)練。一個(gè)叫做Sara的女生和一個(gè)叫做Linda的女生在討論自己想租什么樣的房子，然后Linda就給Sara提供了一些信息。

問的說Sara想要租一間什么樣的房子，這里的twin room= double room(雙人房)。在接下來的一題中，又問：
