一、雅思聽力部分的考試形式
雅思考試的聽力分為四個部分，每個部分有10道題目。問題的排列順序和答案在聽力材料中出現(xiàn)的順序保持一致。在播放聽力材料過程中，考生會獲得閱讀問題、寫下答案以及檢查答案的時間?？忌鷳?yīng)在播放聽力材料的時候把答案寫在問卷中。在聽力材料播放完畢后考生有10分鐘的時間把答案轉(zhuǎn)抄到答卷上。四個部分的概述如下：

前兩段聽力材料涉及社會生活范疇的話題。第一段材料以兩人間的對話形式出現(xiàn)，如關(guān)于旅行安排的對話。第二段材料為一個人的獨白，如介紹博物館開放時間的錄音。
后兩段聽力材料與教育或培訓(xùn)環(huán)境下的話題更為貼近。第三段材料是不超過4個人之間的對話，比如老師和學(xué)生關(guān)于作業(yè)的討論。第四段材料為一個人的獨白，如關(guān)于一般性學(xué)術(shù)話題的講課內(nèi)容。
二、雅思聽力題型分類
1、填空題。
其中又可以進一步劃分為單句填空題、總結(jié)填空題和提綱式填空題。這樣一些填空題題干有長有短，難度上也有一定的差別，但是總的來說它們本質(zhì)上都是在進行填空，因此一些基本的步驟方法在它們之間都是可以通用的。考生在練習(xí)的時候可以將這幾個題型分別練習(xí)，然后再結(jié)合在一起考慮。
對于填空題通用的思路有：
(1)掃描題干劃核心詞;
(2)根據(jù)空格前后和句子的整體意思預(yù)測空格里所填成分的詞性和大致內(nèi)容;
(3)把握基本的句型結(jié)構(gòu)。
填空題是雅思聽力中非常重要的一種題型，考生應(yīng)該對其充分地重視，把練習(xí)材料中各個填空題總結(jié)到一起，多加練習(xí)。
2、簡答題。
顧名思義，這類題型就是用簡短的答案來回答問題。這類題型讀題時應(yīng)該抓住疑問詞，明確題目所問的方向，常見的疑問代副詞有what why who where when how。同時還應(yīng)該關(guān)注問題中的其他核心詞。在檢查的時候要注意避免答非所問的錯誤。
對于簡答題通用的思路有：
在聽題之前，考生應(yīng)該仔細閱讀題目，弄清題目的意思。聽完之后要注意檢查自己的答案是否清楚明白，同時猜測所有沒有聽到的答案，不要留空。
3、填表格題。
這種題型在雅思聽力考試中出現(xiàn)得非常多，基本的解題思路主要有以下幾點：
(1)掃描表格的橫縱軸，把握表格的整體內(nèi)容;
(2)根據(jù)表格中已給的信息對要填的內(nèi)容進行預(yù)測;
(3)注意拼讀規(guī)律的運用和題目的特殊要求;
(4)檢查的時候要注意答案的格式。
另外在表格題中可能出現(xiàn)亂序的問題，這時考生要注意抓住橫縱軸的交叉來解題。
4、選擇題。
選擇題是考生最為熟悉的一種英語聽力考試的題型，但是在雅思聽力中的選擇題有區(qū)別于傳統(tǒng)聽力考試的一些特征。雅思聽力的選擇題更加注重細節(jié)的考察，在section 3 和section 4部分聽力所涉及的場景內(nèi)容更加專業(yè)，考生可能并不熟悉。這種題型由于在以往的考試中比較常見，考生會比較容易上手，但是因為其本身的難度考生又往往容易在這種題型上丟分。對于選擇題考生要多加練習(xí)，切不可大意。
5、地圖題、 圖畫題、圖例題。
這三種題型題干中都包含了的圖畫，與傳統(tǒng)聽力考試有著非常大的區(qū)別，剛開始練習(xí)也是很讓人頭疼的。包含圖畫的題考生首先要把圖畫的意思看懂，不管它是一個地圖還是普通圖畫，亦或是某種機械構(gòu)造圖。
6、搭配題。
這種題型分為題干和選項兩部分，要求考生根據(jù)錄音內(nèi)容所表示的邏輯關(guān)系將兩部分進行搭配。
