GRE詞匯紅寶書中的高級詞匯

土鱉詞匯，就是大家對于一個中文意思的第一反應。比如：大就是big，想就是think等等。雖然說gre寫作考的是邏輯，但是我們的語言也要稍微華麗一些吧，這樣才能錦上添花。

曾經看過一個老外寫的中文文章：“我和小明是好朋友，我們一起去看電影，他說電影很好看，我也這么認為。然后我們回家了，我去他家吃飯。他媽媽做的很好吃”很幼稚，但是這樣一篇文章的等級是“很好”。這就是我們眼中的外國人文章，換位思考，外國人眼中我們的文章也就是這個樣子的吧。通篇都是think，看卷子的人心理素質不好的話，都能一口鮮血吐出來。所以，為了給我們自己加分，為了讓判卷的老師多活幾年，我們換換詞匯吧。

背了那么多紅寶應該不難發(fā)現(xiàn)，我們學過的每個詞在紅寶書中都有替換的詞，所以，在下吐血整理了這些替換詞，幫助大家告別土鱉詞匯!

第一類：

巨大: big-colossal/enormous/ immense/ gargantuan/ grandiose/ massive/ monolithic/ prodigious/titanic/ tremendous

小的:small-diminutive/ miniature/ miniscule

快的(副詞):fastly—by leaps andbounds

加強:strengthen-bolster/ buttress/ consolidate/ reinforce/ intensify/ fortify (可以用在argument)

強的:strong-brawny/ muscular/ sinewy/ impregnable/ invincible/ potent/ robust/virile/ stalwart/ stout/ sturdy

困境：(陷入困難的處境就是困難)difficultsituations= deadlock/ impasse/ stalemate/ dilemma/ predicament/ quandary/ mire泥沼/ morass/swamp/ quagmire/ standstill停止，僵局/ labyrinth迷宮(很好的比喻的說法~可以說什么問題把我們陷入了一個迷宮~僵局等~)

陷入：reduce/ getbogged down/ plunge into

復雜的：complicated/intricate/ complex/(這里介紹一個很好的押韻的方法：complexand perplexed/ complicate and intricate or sophisticated用在表達困難的地方可以顯示出詞匯的完善更能有一種押運修辭的效果~讀起來瑯瑯上口)

難以理解：abstruse/recondite/ intricate/ arcane只有少數人可以理解=esoteric/ cryptic 簡短卻令人迷惑/ enigmatic 謎一般的 enigma 形容詞形式/ inexplicable無法解釋/ inscrutable無法捉摸=unfathomable/mysterious/ supernatural/ mystical/ extraterrestrial

臭名昭著：disreputable= infamous/ notorious/ nefarious因為極壞而臭名昭著

好的名聲：reputation= esteem/ prestige

壞的名聲：disgrace/disrepute/ ignominy/ infamy/ odium/ opprobrium/ stigma 不好的聲譽，恥辱。

尊重名次：respect =reverence/ veneration/ homage

高尚的：noble =rarefied/ sublime/ lofty

不尊重名次：disrespect =scorn蔑視

招人輕視的：contemptible= despicable

尊重：動詞idolize/worship/ lionize 對待名人一樣的崇拜/revere敬愛，敬畏
