GRE單詞的備戰(zhàn)是個復雜的過程，同學們要做好充足的準備，記憶單詞不能靠死記硬背，要講究記憶方法，那么在復習單詞之前要制定一份GRE單詞背誦計劃，這樣在復習單詞的時候就能有所方向有所目的性，這樣復習起來才會有明確的思路，那么每個人的個人情況不同，要根據(jù)自己的實際情況去制定適合自己的GRE單詞背誦計劃。
新入門的考生想要背誦新GRE詞匯，就可以從核心詞匯入手，制定GRE單詞背誦計劃，再熟悉詞匯之后，利用其它的GRE詞匯書擴大詞匯量。有了一定的詞匯量，無論在做閱讀、還是聽力的時候都會游刃有余，相信一定能取得GRE的好成績。
背單詞的時候一定要發(fā)揮主觀的能動性。我背單詞的時候就會進行聯(lián)想 ，聯(lián)想背過的同義詞和反義詞，我就會翻到我背過的那個詞確認后寫到現(xiàn)在背的單詞旁邊，有些單詞我最后可以寫出5~6同義詞，同樣學會用詞根的方法對詞進行拆分也會有力于記憶，最好制定一份GRE考試單詞背誦計劃。

1.認識到熟練掌握GRE詞匯對于攻克GRE考試的重要性。
熟練掌握GRE詞匯是GRE考試成功的一半!要攻破GRE詞匯這個堡壘，毅力兩字是根本，還要有GRE單詞背誦計劃，記憶GRE詞匯從來沒有輸在智力上的，只有輸在毅力上的!在背詞匯期間絕對要心靜如水，要善于給自己打氣，善于調(diào)節(jié)自己的情緒。
2.絕對不要打持久戰(zhàn)。
背詞匯“時間越長記得越牢”的想法在GRE考試中行不通，時間不允許是一個方面，效果也不見得好。GRE詞匯必須要在兩個月內(nèi)過關。在這兩個月的時間內(nèi)，熟練掌握的詞匯至少要達到80%以上，不熟的詞匯可以通過反復做真題來彌補。這就需要做好周密的計劃，精確到每天的工作量，每天記憶詞匯的下限是200個，學有余力者可根據(jù)自己的實際情況適當增加。一定要按時完成，完不成絕不罷休。
當然，這個要求需要你有GRE單詞背誦計劃，在這一階段，你就應該尋找最適合自己的助記方法。一般來說，詞匯儲備在2000個詞左右時，一星期至少要抽出一天半的時間來復習;詞匯儲備在4 000個詞左右時，一星期至少要抽出兩天半的時間來復習;當詞匯儲備達到6000以上時，一星期至少要抽出三天的時間來復習。這里并不是說拿出一整天的時間來復習，而是累計時間。
3.計劃和方法結合。
備考GRE詞匯時，方法幾乎和計劃同樣重要，只有好的計劃和好的方法相配合，才可能有事半功倍的效果。
