Since we go to school, we are taught that no pain, no gain, it means that if people want to be successful, they must work hard. But the truth is that not everyone can get what they want, even they work hard so much, but if working hard does not bring success, why should they still need to work hard. In my opinion, working hard doesn’t mean the person can success certainly, success needs more factors, like the time, the luck and other things. There is no doubt that if the person does not work hard and fight for his goal, there is no way for him to get what he wants. Some actors start their career at the very young age, when they are also 40, they become famous suddenly, if they give up, they can’t be waiting for their reputation. So working hard, there is much chance to get succeed.

from the golden-tipped fields of mid-west america to the ancient kingdoms of verdant palestine, there is a happy truth to be shared with all who would take heed. in more recent times, this truth has been expressed as: april showers bring may flowers. this is a truth that promises light bursting from darkness, strength born from weakness and, if one dares to believe, life emerging from death.
farmers all over the world know the importance and immutability of the seasons. they know that there is a season to plant and a season to harvest; everything must be done in its own time. although the rain pours down with the utmost relentlessness, ceasing all outdoor activities, the man of the field lifts his face to the heavens and smiles. despite the inconvenience, he knows that the rain provides the nourishment his crops need to grow and flourish. the torrential rains in the month of april, give rise to the glorious flowers in the month of may.
but this ancient truth applies to more than the crops of the fields; it is an invaluable message of hope to all who experience tragedy in life. a dashed relationship with one can open up the door to a brand new friendship with another. a lost job here can provide the opportunity for a better job there. a broken dream can become the foundation of a wonderful future. everything has its place.
remember this: overwhelming darkness may endure for a night, but it will never overcome the radiant light of the morning. when you are in a season of sorrow, hang in there, because a season of joy may be just around the corner…

A good teacher is like a shining star to students. Miss Li, my senior high school English teacher, is a shining star in my life.
When I began my senior high school years, I had difficulty in learning English. I dared not speak English aloud in public because of my poor pronunciation and intonation. I could not get high marks and my grammar was not right at all. Frustrated and afraid of being laughed at, I never put up my hand to answer questions in English class. When Miss Li found out my situation, she encouraged me and lent me a hand. She patiently taught me English grammar, helped me understand how to write a good sentence,and lent me many English books and magazines, which rapidly improved my English. With her help, I became interested in English and eventually got high marks.
Miss Li, like a shining star, shines in my path of success.

To get the study time as more as possible, some students move their books to the study room, they want to occupy the seat, so they put a lot of books as the sign that the seat has been taken by someone, other people can’t take this seat. In my opinion, studying hard is a good thing, working hard will lead people to success, while taking the seat for a long time is not a civilized behavior. It is a kind of wasting resource, when students are not here, but the seats are empty, they should be left for other students to study.
在中國，學(xué)生很努力學(xué)習(xí)，他們白天和晚上都在學(xué)習(xí)，只為了得到更高的分?jǐn)?shù)，這樣他們就可以進入到更好地學(xué)校，能給他們帶來更加光明的前途。為了盡可能地更多時間學(xué)習(xí)，一些學(xué)生把他們的書本搬到了自習(xí)室，他們想要占位置，所以他們放了很多書，作為位置已被人占有的象征，別人不能做這個位置。在我看來，努力學(xué)習(xí)是一件好事，努力工作能讓人們成功，但是長時間的占據(jù)位置不是文明的行為。這有點浪費資源，當(dāng)學(xué)生不在學(xué)習(xí)時候，位置也是空的，他們應(yīng)該把位置讓給別的學(xué)生來學(xué)習(xí)。
