第一、對題型和解題技巧沒有熟悉就匆忙上陣。

考托?？谡Z，就像和敵人打仗。你不知道敵人怎么出招，你也就不知道你自己應(yīng)該出什么招。這樣，你打敗仗就是必然的。

建議：熟悉題型。

第二、缺乏迅速組織好答案的能力。

考生在托?？谡Z考試中，面臨兩點壓力：

1、時間緊、任務(wù)重。托福口語的答案準(zhǔn)備時間只有15-30秒，答題只有45/60秒。如果沒有接受過正規(guī)的訓(xùn)練，考生在考場上必將不知所措、語無倫次。

2、要迅速呈現(xiàn)“完整的答案”，這也就要求考生的答案“濃縮精華”。沒接受過“答案構(gòu)思訓(xùn)練”，“濃縮精華”也是難以做到的。

第三、考場上表現(xiàn)得不夠自信和大方。

原因有二：

1、缺乏口語練習(xí)，導(dǎo)致考生在答題時表現(xiàn)得不自信。

2、性格過于內(nèi)斂，導(dǎo)致考生在答題時表現(xiàn)得不夠張揚。考場上表現(xiàn)得不夠自信和大方不是形式上的問題，而是本質(zhì)問題，因為這樣以來，考生答題的音量就會小、發(fā)音就會模糊、分?jǐn)?shù)也就不可能高。

建議：

1、“信心來自實力，實力來自練習(xí)”。

2、不論你在平常的性格如何，在考場內(nèi)答題時，你必須表現(xiàn)得開朗、自信、大方。

第四、口語答案的語言缺乏表現(xiàn)力。

總體來講：英語(論壇)語音不準(zhǔn)確、語調(diào)無起伏、語言不流利、結(jié)結(jié)巴巴。

1.It’s cool!　很好, 很棒!Cool 這個字在英文里算是應(yīng)用最廣的字之一了, 幾乎隨時隨地都可以聽到人家在說這個字. 通常有二種場合人家會說 cool! 首先第一個場合是, 當(dāng)有人說了一件不錯的事情, 例如, "I am going to college this year." 你就可以說 "Cool!" 或是人家說, "I just bought a brand new car." 你還是說 "Cool!" 總之只要是好事, 你都可以說 cool!另外一個場合會說 cool 多半是別人問你作了某件事了沒, 你說作了, 別人就會說 cool. 例如別人問你 "Did you make one copy for me?" 你說, "Yes." 他就會很自然地說 "Cool." 又例如人家問你, "Did you go to watch the football game yesterday?" 你說, "Yes." 人家也會說 "Cool!" 總之, cool 這個字是無所不在的, 聽到什么好事, 就說 cool 準(zhǔn)沒錯.

2.It is neat!　太酷了!我們可以這樣說, neat 是 cool 的比較級, 比 cool 還再 cool 一點的就是 neat, 例如別人說他學(xué)鋼琴學(xué)了十年, 像這種事你光用 cool 形容是不夠的, 不如就說 neat! 會來的更貼切一點. 或是人家說, "I’ve been to Europe several times." 聽到這種幾乎不可能發(fā)生在一般人身上的事, 你也可以說 neat!

3.It is righteous!　酷斃了!這是 cool 的級了, 如果一件事讓你無法用 neat 形容, 那就只好用這個字了, 有人說他剛環(huán)游世界一周回來, 你就可以跟他說, "It’s righteous!" 但是這句蠻少用的.

4.It’s good.很好.再來介紹另一組也是常用的形容詞. Good 跟 cool 很像, 都是聽到什么好事時就可以脫口而出, "It’s good!" 例如, 人家說, "I just got an A from that course." 你就可以輕描淡寫地說 "It’s good." 一般別人跟你問好時, "How are you doing?" 通常我們會回答, "I am good" 或是 "I am doing good." 這是幾乎每天都會用到的對話之一.另外 good for you 或是 good to hear 這二種句型也很常見, 例如別人跟你說他明年想要上大學(xué), 或是說他決定從現(xiàn)在起每天要運動一小時, 你就可以說, "Good for you." 或是 "Good to hear."

5.That’s great.　太好了.Great 在這里就是說很棒的意思. 大家也可以想像成這個是 good 的比較級, 如果剛才那個得到一個 A 的人換作是女生的話, 我可能就會說 "That’s great!" 這樣別人聽來可能就會更舒服一點. 同樣的, 遇到別人跟你問好, 要是你今天覺得很不錯的話, 你就可以說 "I am great!"

6.That’s wonderful.　太棒了.Wonderful 聽來就要比 great 還要再更好一些. 如果說這個拿 "A" 的人不但是個美眉, 而且又正好有幾分臉蛋的話, 就試試這句吧! "That’s wonderful!" 聽來是不是很舒服呢? 當(dāng)然要是遇到別人跟你問好, 你回答 "I am wonderful." 那就表示你今天真的是很不錯了!曾經(jīng)在廣播上聽到一段對話, 主持人問, "How are you today?" 聽眾答, "I am just good." 主持人不太滿意, "Just good?" 于是那人就改口答, "I am great." 沒想到主持人還是不滿意, "Just great?" 那人才說, "I am wonderful." 這時主持人才真正滿意, 沒有繼續(xù)追問下去. 由這個例子我想大家可以很清楚地看到 good, great 和 wonderful 之間程度上的關(guān)系.

7.That’s incredible.　真是另人難以置信.Incredible 算是 good 這一系列形容詞的級了吧. 如果用到 incredible 這個字, 就表示這個東西真的是好到讓你印象深刻. 例如剛才拿 "A" 的美眉不只拿了一個 A, 而且是整個學(xué)期每門課都拿 A, (straight A’s) 那你可能就要說 "That’s incredible." 又比方說你剛從一家很棒的餐廳用完餐出來, 你可能也會嘆道, "The food was incredible!" 不過注意一下, 別人跟你問好是不能答說 "I am incredible." 的喔!

8.She is pretty.　她好漂亮.Pretty 當(dāng)作漂亮解時, 和 beautiful 程度上差不多, 但如果真的要比的話, beautiful 還是比 pretty 還要 beautiful 一點. 另外還有一種用法就是當(dāng)球賽有精采的表現(xiàn)時, 你就可以說, Oh! That’s pretty. 但是不能說, That’s beautiful, 跟中文是不是有點類似呢?

9.The house is gorgeous!　這房子好漂亮.Gorgeous 可以用來形容任何美麗的事物, 比 beautiful 跟 pretty 還要再高一級, 所以在應(yīng)用上可以視情況而決定要用哪一個形容詞. 例如美女的話就可以說 "She is gorgeous!"

10.It is a terrific game.　那是一場很棒的比賽.Terrific 在字典里查到有恐怖, 可怕的意思, 可是在美國幾乎沒有人用這個字來當(dāng)作可怕的意思, 基本上, 它就是指很棒的東西. 這個字的等級大概跟 wonderful 差不多. 例如別人問你, "Have you been seen the movie?" 你可以答說, "Yes, that’s a terrific one."

11.That’s awesome.　那真是太棒了.Awesome 和 terrific 一樣, 在字典里都有可怕的意思, 可是當(dāng)你聽到別人說這個字時, 就只有很棒的意思. 通常老美只講 awesome 一個字, 例如別人問你, 你覺得我的家布置的如何, 你就可以答說. "Awesome!" 或是人家問你, "How do you think of that game?" 你也可以說 awesome! 表示那場比賽真的是很精采.注意一下, terrific, awesome 跟另一個單字excellent 基本上都是可以互換使用的.

In my opinion, nurse makes the biggest contribution to society, because their job descriptions require more responsibilities and skills, such as medical training and tests. Instead of teaching or performing, they save people’s lives, which is the primal element of the structure of our society. Apart from that, my cousin works as a nurse in a hospital.

Although sometimes it’s easy to be mistaken by patients and their families, she’s still taking care of them with patience and respect. Her way of treating others sets a good example for all of us to follow. People became more understanding and tolerant in our community.
