流利度是雅思口語(yǔ)評(píng)分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)中比較重要的一個(gè),但是雅思口語(yǔ)考試是語(yǔ)言能力的綜合考察,所以在看這邊文章之前,小烤鴨們應(yīng)該對(duì)雅思口語(yǔ)有一定的了解。 簡(jiǎn)單回憶一下: 1. 雅思口語(yǔ)考試的形式?2. 雅思口語(yǔ)分幾個(gè)部分?每個(gè)部分都會(huì)問(wèn)什么樣的問(wèn)題?3. 雅思口語(yǔ)考試官方評(píng)分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)是從哪四個(gè)方面考察的?

口語(yǔ)考試通過(guò)面試(interview)的形式,通過(guò)跟考官(examiner)對(duì)話、討論來(lái)完成對(duì)于語(yǔ)言評(píng)估,通常情況下時(shí)間會(huì)嚴(yán)格控制在13-15分鐘以內(nèi)。

考試分為三個(gè)部分:Part 1會(huì)問(wèn)簡(jiǎn)單的問(wèn)題,例如工作,學(xué)習(xí),家鄉(xiāng),平時(shí)愛(ài)好等,從而達(dá)到熟悉考生個(gè)人情況,也考察考生對(duì)于基本問(wèn)題反應(yīng)能力。Part 2 考官會(huì)給考生提供一個(gè)話題卡,針對(duì)一個(gè)主題展開描述,考生有1分鐘的準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間(考官提供筆和白板,可以寫筆記),之后希望考生針對(duì)這個(gè)話題回答,通常建議說(shuō)2分鐘,時(shí)間到考官會(huì)要求停下。(對(duì)于時(shí)間的要求很嚴(yán)格,但是如果時(shí)間到?jīng)]有說(shuō)完,也不必太緊張,口語(yǔ)是三個(gè)部分的綜合考察。)Part 3 是對(duì)上一個(gè)部分話題的延伸,考察口語(yǔ)表達(dá)對(duì)于社會(huì)性話題的描述,甚至是自己對(duì)于這些問(wèn)題的觀察和想法,對(duì)于烤鴨來(lái)說(shuō)是最難的部分,考前一定要認(rèn)真對(duì)待part 3。

雅思官網(wǎng)給出的評(píng)分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)是從流利度和連貫性,詞匯多樣性,語(yǔ)法多樣性及準(zhǔn)確性,發(fā)音四個(gè)方面來(lái)考察考生的能力.

其實(shí)所有烤鴨們都知道,口語(yǔ)part 1 & 2 的問(wèn)題是相對(duì)比較固定的,考試之前是可以自己準(zhǔn)備的,也是老師們強(qiáng)烈要求的。

如何準(zhǔn)備Part 1話題并提高流利度?

1. 一定要從part 1 開始,熟悉所有的題目,可以每天設(shè)定目標(biāo),但是不要太多,根據(jù)自己的情況而定。對(duì)于能力比較好(雅思口語(yǔ)5.5+,已經(jīng)備考一段時(shí)間的)的同學(xué),可以寫出關(guān)鍵詞,一定是自己的原創(chuàng)想法,這個(gè)很重要;其次可以促使自己使用一些平時(shí)不太常用的連接詞來(lái)回答問(wèn)題,例如as, although, even, as well as, for等。(目的是在話題中加強(qiáng)語(yǔ)法的多樣性和準(zhǔn)確性)更多連接詞用法,可以參考劍橋詞典。

對(duì)于能力比較一般的(雅思口語(yǔ)4-5.5分,小白)的同學(xué),需要自己把想法認(rèn)真一字一句寫下里,檢查是否有語(yǔ)法錯(cuò)誤,是否提供了合理的解釋,這里可能需要老師的幫助,畢竟自己不一定可以寫出語(yǔ)法合理的句子,當(dāng)然也可以從教材中學(xué)習(xí)句子結(jié)構(gòu)、答題思路。

2. 不同程度的同學(xué)完成上述部分之后,接下里就是練習(xí)熟練度,重點(diǎn):不要死記硬背每道題的答案,這樣只會(huì)增加負(fù)擔(dān)。第一遍錄音: 自己提問(wèn),自己回答,脫稿,不可以停下,即使錯(cuò)了也在繼續(xù),不要太在意是否回答正確,要鼓勵(lì)自己說(shuō)下去。

例如:1. what do you do ?I am an art student, currently studying at National Art Academy, and I am in my third year.2. Do you like your school?Yes, I do. I enjoy it a lot, as becoming an artist is what I wanted since I was young.錄音結(jié)束:需要重新聽自己的回答(很多同學(xué)會(huì)認(rèn)為聽自己的聲音很奇怪,慢慢習(xí)慣就好了),找出自己可以改進(jìn)的地方(語(yǔ)法,單詞的發(fā)音,句子的中音都是需要專注的部分,整體回答的流利度,是否自然即不要過(guò)快或者過(guò)慢)??偨Y(jié)第一遍錄音的問(wèn)題,然后第二遍重復(fù)上述步驟。建議間隔12-24小時(shí)之后,再進(jìn)行第三遍同樣的操作,因?yàn)闀?huì)有遺憾的過(guò)程,所以第三遍就是為了鞏固復(fù)習(xí)。這樣就可以很有效的改進(jìn)口語(yǔ)的流利度。雅思口語(yǔ)想要提分還是得重在堅(jiān)持,自我反饋。

如何準(zhǔn)備Part 2話題并提高流利度?

1. 準(zhǔn)備階段由于針對(duì)Part 2話題卡要準(zhǔn)備2分鐘的內(nèi)容,建議字?jǐn)?shù)可能在140-180個(gè)單詞,相當(dāng)于小作文。Part 2 大致考察對(duì)于人物,地點(diǎn),事件的描述能力,所以在準(zhǔn)備一個(gè)話題卡時(shí),除了認(rèn)真準(zhǔn)備(結(jié)合評(píng)分標(biāo)準(zhǔn))以外,也可以舉一反三,相似元素用于相似話題。

注意事項(xiàng):

· 認(rèn)真準(zhǔn)備一個(gè)話題卡,背誦相關(guān)詞匯,可以寫逐字稿,但是關(guān)鍵是框架和關(guān)鍵詞的關(guān)聯(lián)。

· 不可以偷懶,每個(gè)都要思考,積累關(guān)鍵詞同時(shí)要確保單詞的準(zhǔn)確性,可以參考英英詞典來(lái)看例句。

· 這個(gè)一個(gè)月的積累過(guò)程中,前3-5天是最痛苦的,也是最難堅(jiān)持的,所以希望大家一步一步來(lái),少量多次。

2. 話題卡錄音練習(xí)如同Part 1的錄音糾錯(cuò)一樣,但是這次要關(guān)注時(shí)間,可以第一遍說(shuō)到1分30秒。第二遍、第三遍再到2分鐘左右。自己改進(jìn)的過(guò)程才是語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)最重要的部分。 在聽自己的錄音過(guò)程中,先聽整體,看是否自然,流暢,有沒(méi)有過(guò)多的停頓,然后專注語(yǔ)法,有沒(méi)有自己可以聽出來(lái)的明顯的語(yǔ)法錯(cuò)誤,最后是單詞的發(fā)音,句子的重音。 很多同學(xué)不太喜歡總結(jié)反饋,但是每次錄音總結(jié)自己的進(jìn)步和不足,是一種很重要的方式,起碼可以嘗試體驗(yàn)。

總結(jié):

1. 熟悉評(píng)分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)和問(wèn)題。

2. 認(rèn)真思考每個(gè)問(wèn)題,爭(zhēng)取回答的是自己原創(chuàng)內(nèi)容。

3. 反復(fù)錄音,反復(fù)糾正,自我反饋,是在提高流利度中很重要的環(huán)節(jié)。每天都在跟自己練習(xí),雖然會(huì)有點(diǎn)枯燥,但是堅(jiān)持之后一定會(huì)有不一樣的體驗(yàn)。

4. 從小任務(wù)開始,準(zhǔn)備內(nèi)容不要太多,關(guān)注自己每天的進(jìn)步。

雅思換題季: Part 2+3 人物類話題怎么說(shuō)

雅思口語(yǔ)part2和part3首先就目前已經(jīng)確定的話題情況來(lái)看,本季Part 2換題的比重還是比較大的有50%左右,物品和事件經(jīng)驗(yàn)類題目依舊是主力,并且出現(xiàn)了很多老題回庫(kù)的情況例如toy / gift / good shopping experience等等。

地點(diǎn)類這次的題目更新較多,而且有一些比較難的話題例如colourful place等等,之后也會(huì)和大家進(jìn)行分享。不過(guò)和Part 1一樣,大家也依舊注意新題老題出現(xiàn)的比例都是一樣的喔。

除此之外,不管怎么變化,依舊還是抓住每種題目的特征和拓展辦法來(lái)進(jìn)行適當(dāng)改編和套題哦。(注意合理成立,符合題目要求,切記生搬硬套死記硬背哦)

回顧:Part 2話題回答注意事項(xiàng)

Part 2的部分最重要的依舊是持續(xù)語(yǔ)流輸出的能力以便展示流利度(Fluency),因此還是建議大家盡量在練習(xí)的時(shí)候講滿2分鐘。

如果考官把你叫停但是你想說(shuō)的還沒(méi)有說(shuō)完是沒(méi)關(guān)系的,所以也不需要因?yàn)橹闭f(shuō)完,語(yǔ)速飛快導(dǎo)致出現(xiàn)不必要的失誤。

同時(shí)因?yàn)槭潜容^長(zhǎng)的連續(xù)語(yǔ)言輸出,所以大家也要注意要有自然的停頓和語(yǔ)調(diào)的變化,以免顯得不自然或者機(jī)械。

另外話題本身的四個(gè)提示點(diǎn)不一定需要完全照跟,只是還是建議大家這么做,以便有更好的邏輯順序(只需要緊跟大標(biāo)題即可,以免跑題以及講錯(cuò)時(shí)態(tài))。

Part 2人物類題目的思路和準(zhǔn)備方向

照舊和各位同學(xué)回顧一下人物類的題目的要點(diǎn),即嘗試和這個(gè)人物建立起某種關(guān)聯(lián)。

例如你對(duì)這個(gè)人有什么感受,ta對(duì)你有什么影響(尤其是這個(gè),因?yàn)閠a的影響你也會(huì)去留意或者做什么事情),有什么優(yōu)點(diǎn)你特別敬佩,有什么缺點(diǎn)但是你覺(jué)得不影響整個(gè)人的總體評(píng)價(jià)等等。

再此基礎(chǔ)上再搭配我一直強(qiáng)調(diào)的添加細(xì)節(jié)和同類對(duì)比的基本原則就可以了,例如講講這個(gè)人和其他類似的人有什么區(qū)別,這樣基本就完全足夠應(yīng)付大多數(shù)話題了。

接下來(lái)我們來(lái)看看本期的例題:

例題一

Describe a person who often travels by plane

然后按照題目四個(gè)提示點(diǎn),可以參考的內(nèi)容如下:

1. Who he or she is

- my uncle

- has been working for a multinational corporation … more than 10 years … as a senior manager.

2. Where he or she goes

- has to travel among the first-tier cities of the country… e.g. Beijing, Shanghai (舉例)… needs to talk to the project managers in different cities for the progress on behalf of the top management… (細(xì)節(jié))

- usually takes a flight for business trip at least 7 or 8 times a month…much more frequent than ordinary people … (對(duì)比)

3. Why he or she travels by plane

- a long distance between the cities … will be more efficient for him…as long as there’s no delay for the flight…

- e.g. if it only takes 1 hour for flying … never takes a high-speed train (need to travel for roughly 3 – 4 hours) … (舉例)

4. And explain how he or she feels about it

- quite exhausted because he needs to spend much time on flying between cities … so that he could have little time to stay with families… still tries to achieve work life balance … e.g. as long as he is at home… hangs out with his children to the amusement park or for the movies … (舉例)

- as a frequent flyer… much experience about flying … e.g. how to book a cheaper ticket… which airline provides a better service (舉例)… share many travel tips with me … useful for me as I usually have limited budget for travelling(對(duì)我的影響)

例題二

Describe a female leader you would like to meet

這題已經(jīng)有很多同學(xué)來(lái)問(wèn)我,是上一季度的人物類題目中有一個(gè)“外語(yǔ)說(shuō)的好的人”,事件類題目中我們有分享過(guò)一個(gè)“準(zhǔn)備演講比賽”的例子。我們稍微進(jìn)行一點(diǎn)改編其實(shí)就還是可以合理的套用到這個(gè)話題上面來(lái)。重點(diǎn)在于這個(gè)leader不一定要是領(lǐng)袖類型的,平時(shí)生活中的team leader之類的也可以,這樣的話就可以有效的減少話題的難度了。

然后按照題目四個(gè)提示點(diǎn),可以參考的內(nèi)容如下

1. Who she is

- an English teacher

- the leader of the faculty of foreign languages in the university of my friend’s

- … also the team leader for team of their English language speech contest…

2. What she does

- conducting classes… e.g. not only English grammar and literature … but also academic writing and oral English… (舉例)

- be responsible for the training session of English speech contest … leads the team to participate the national contest every year…

3. What she is like

- young but experienced… used to study and live for many years in English-speaking countries (such as the UK and Australia…)… makes her perfect for this job … (解釋說(shuō)明)

- super easy-going… doesn't feel like a leader … have a coffee chat with her students frequently… (解釋說(shuō)明)

4. And explain why you would like to meet her (這里可以說(shuō)說(shuō)她可能對(duì)于我的幫助是想見(jiàn)的原因)

- she is not a teaching staff in my university… have been looking forward to meeting her… ask for the tips to improve my English proficiency…

- my friend told me … usually has a creative and funny atmosphere in the class … e.g. many class activities and requires the students to do more discussion (具體化舉例)… different with the teachers in my university … e.g. boring classes make me feel sleepy … (對(duì)比) … advocate this kind of teaching style in the faculty…

- a great leader as well as a mentor for the team of speech contest … help the students to overcome the fear of speaking in front of the crowd… would be exactly what I need …

Part 3例題分析

注意Part3要做到多說(shuō)的話,就是具體化細(xì)節(jié)化的描述內(nèi)容,這點(diǎn)也剛好符合官方對(duì)于be able to justify your answer的要求哦。

例題一

How is working at the airport different from working on in other places?

具體化的描述內(nèi)容其實(shí)不難說(shuō)

參考思路如下:

立場(chǎng): different working hours…

Airport:

- might not be able to get off work on time … e.g. if the flight has been delayed … the ground service staffs need to be on duty until maybe 2am or ever later…

- for the airports which run 24/7… staffs have to take the night shift… different daily routine with other people …

Other places:

- most of them just work from 9 to 5… as long as they don't have to work overtime…

小總結(jié):

working in the airports could be more stressful and exhausted…

例題二

Do you think there is equality in the workplace for men and women nowadays?

這個(gè)題目的范疇有點(diǎn)大所以我們還是盡量具體化一些以便更好的展開。

參考思路如下:

立場(chǎng): not a complete equality … but the situation is improving…

Current problem:

there’s still a glass ceiling which could be difficult for some females to break through … not many job offers for them … e.g. can’ get the position of top management … are regarded that it would be quite challenging for them to balance work and family…

Ongoing changes:

have more and more participation … e.g. more female national leaders in different countries and business giants… males also realise that they should also shoulder the family issues with their wives… females can put more effort on their jobs … push the company to maintain the equality for the workplace…

雅思口語(yǔ)高頻話題:想見(jiàn)的外國(guó)名人

Describe a famous person (not in your country) that you would like to meet in person.

You should say:

Who the person is;

What the person does;

How you got to know about him or her;

And explain why you want to meet the person.

Sample

I’d like to talk about one of my idols, Justin Bieber. He’s a famous singer and songwriter in Canada.

If memory serves correctly ,I discovered him about 9 years ago when his song, “Baby” went viral on the internet. The song is all about understanding and exploring the concept of love, mainly the ambivalence a teenage boy feels for his first love . It’s quite a brainwashing song and I could sing along soon when listening to it. I became obsessed with the song because of its appealing melody and its catchy lyrics.

It was after hearing “Baby” that I began to familiarize myself with Justin Bieber and his songs. What is most interesting about Justin is that he isn’t only known for his numerous hits, but also his controversial personal life. He went through ups and downs after being famous overnight. In fact, he’s now far from the immature and

inexperienced young boy. If you don't know him, you must be amazed by his rich life experiences and various music styles, and you wouldn’t peg him as being a 24-year -old young man.

I think Justin Bieber is extremely creative and has written tons of beautiful and touching songs, which has helped him grow a population of true die-hard fans. I really hope I can meet him in person one day. I would ask him to take a selfie with me, and brag about that for the rest of my life. I also have a few questions to ask him, like where he gets inspiration for his songs.
