thus可以用作副詞
thus的基本意思是“如此,這樣,以此方式”。
thus也可作“其結(jié)果是,因此,于是”解。

詞性不同
so表示“所以”是連詞(conj.)，前后都是完整的主謂賓。
這也解釋了為什么because和so不能連用，因?yàn)樗鼈z的功能完全一致。

thus是副詞(adv.)，在句子里不能連接2套主謂賓。
