There are some voices claiming Lei Feng’s spirit has gone out of style in today’s society. They reason is that in commodity economy people should seek more practical things, such as fame, money and the comfortable life. To them nothing is more important than those things, which is often regarded as the views of the present generation.

As we all know,March is the month to learn from the spirit of Leifeng.However ,it become a controversial issue these years wether we should continue to learn from Leifeng or not,especially when affairs that young men who kindly helped the old men were frauded were frequently reported.Again it's March now,do we still need to learn from Leifeng?In my opinion,it's nesseary to learn from Leifeng.Firstly,it's Chinese traditional virtue to help others. The typical story to help others is offering fuel to the poor in snow days.According to legend,in a cold winter ,it's snowing heavily,the Emperor Taizong of Song felt cold even he's beside the fire.
So he ordered his soldiers to send charcoal to the poor.Therefor,the story and the good virtue have been circulated so far.To be ready to help others is a kind of traditional culture our ancestor left us,we shouldn't forget it.
Secondly,if we abandoned the Leifeng Spirit, the world would be dark.Imagine how hard and dull the life would be if people lived in a selfish and indifferent world?No people save the children in water,no donation for the disaters,thats a counterback of a whole nation. So it's necessary for the govement and schools to advocate the spirit of Leifeng.Of course,inevitably there are always evil people in every era.What we can do is take safe measure while helping others.

After I read the news,I felt very excited.Lei Feng was a good example all the young people in our country learned from in the 1960s and 1970s.But these years people seem to have given up the ideas of Lei Feng.they don't care about public interests and never think for others.All these have done GREat harm to the society.
Now,we students have realized the seriousness of the problem,and have decided to learn from Lei Feng.We are glad that Lei Feng has come back again.
To learn from Lei Feng,our class organized an activity to do some voluntary work.
At 8:00 in the morning,we arrived at Sunshine Nursing Home.The elderly gave us a warm welcome.We presented them with flowers and fruits.Then we broke into several groups to finish the work as planned.Some cleaned the windows and swept the floor.Some helped them wash hair.Some chatted with the elderly people and listened to the stories about gone days.Everything done,we gave a performance to them.At about four o’clock,we said goodbye to one anther and felt happy on the way home.

As there were no classes this afternoon, we decided to do some good deeds for people. Some of us went to the Station Square to repair bikes for people passing by, some went to a home for orphans nearby to help carry coal and wash their clothes, and others remained at school to clean the teachers' office. We all worked very hard.

Such is human nature;people trace the good，water flows to low. Everyone should copy his sprit as our daily life goes instead of uttering a meaningless slogan “l(fā)earn from Leifeng，our decent idol”，so that we could definitely see a lot more smiling faces rather than conflict.
To help others is not a hard thing，however，what you need is to consist doing it. Take myself as an example. I am the representative of Math，to collect homework is my daily task，however，I would turn them to the right page for shorten the time for teachers when correcting them.
I strongly propose that we shall see a better world if each of us treat Leifeng as our model and copy his spirit.
