Now, the degree of urbanization has been deepening and we enjoy the convenience brought by urbanization. How does everybody know how the cities began? Long time ago, the world had only a few thousand people. These people moved from place to place, hunting animals for food. No one knows how or when these people learned about growing food. But when they did, their lives changed greatly. One thing is certain that they gathered in the rich place or near water. In that age, water and climate are the most important to lives. It is the rich water and comfortable climate that gathered people from different places. They began to live near one another, so that the first village grew. Many people came to work in the villages. Then the villages became bigger and bigger.When machines were invented, life in the villages changed again. Factories were built. There were a growing number of people living near factories. Because of the increasing people, more and more buildings were built. And then cities were built.

Xiangying Kindergarten is a town-ship kindergarten. It was set up in 1997 by Xiangying Township. Eighty percent of the children come from peasants' families. It was tough in its early years and nearly collapsed. However, during the past years, great changes have taken place because of a project sponsored by government. A new building has taken the place of the house made of the earth and a new small playground was built. Besides, there have been some amusement devices. The township provided the kindergarten with a lot of advanced equipment such as pianos and TV sets. The number of children has increased to nearly 200, and the number of teachers has reached to 25. Now parents are willing to send their children to the kindergarten.

During the winter holiday, I was very happy because of the Chinese new year and other reasons. During the holiday, my parents and I went back to my hometown in the countryside in Hebei Province. Previously,could be seen everywhere, but now they have taken on an entirely newlook. Motorcycles or even private cars are not luxuries any more.

One of the villagers proudly told me that he and some other villagers were going to join a tour and travel abroad. Seeing these amazing changes, my father said that he would go back to my hometown as soon as he retired. As for me, I strongly supported his idea.
