We are middle school students and we are busy with our lessons. So some people think we should concentrate more on our studies. If we volunteer to help others it’s a waste of time. But I think volunteering is great.
I not only feel good about helping others but also get to spend time doing what I love to do. And from volunteering I have learned many things that I have never learned in class. So if I have an oppoutunity I’d like to visit old people’s houses to clean up for them. I’d also like to help sick kids in hospital. I love kids and I plan to put my love to good use by working in hospital.
In a word I’d like to help people who need help. If everyone helps out a bit the world will be more colorful.

My experience in the English speech contest last October is a case in point.A month before the event,I Spent hours working out a schedule outlining my goals and practical steps.After that,I set out to read widely for an inspiring topic,wrote a speech,and practiced its delivery in beautiful prounnciation with good public speech skills.I finally came out of the contest as the first prize winner.
I know how I achieved my success. It came from good planning and better doing combined.

Dear Eli,
Having learned that you are interested in the trash-sorting program promoted recently in China, I am here writing to give you a brief introduction.
As far as I know, Shanghai has become the pioneer of our country's waste sorting policy. As of July 1st this year, the residents in Shanghai have not been able to dump their waste bags in whichever bin was closest. On the contrary, domestic waste is required to be classified into four categories: dry refuse, wet trash, recyclable waste and hazardous(dangerous) waste.
Faced with the new rule, many citizens in Shanghai are finding it a little too complicated, with every item of waste now under careful scrutiny(examination) and classification. Still, there are more people who warmly support the policy because it helps people to cultivate greener lifestyle habits and helps China to become a more beautiful country.
