Wang Nan-World Champion in Pingpong

Wang Nan， a world champion in pingpong， is 1.62 meter tall with the weight of 54 kilograms. She was born in Liaoning Province in October 1978. She began to play pingpong at the age of seven.

She worked in Liaoning Team for three years before she came to the national team in 1993. She trained hard and got along well with her teammates. Wang Nan has won scores of gold medals in international table-tennis games and won great honour for our motherland. It has not been decided yet who will give us the lesson. ”The class turned silent at his words. It seemed that no one would believe him. In fact， all of us were afraid that Miss Li would no longer be with us. At this moment， Miss Li appeared at the door. She looked tired and pale.

Once she was badly ill and had stayed in bed for several days. When I got home to see her at night， I found the light was still on and mother was sitting in bed， making new clothes for me ! I was so deeply moved that tears came to my eyes.

The other day， When I was on my way to school， I saw Jack， a student of Grade 3 in our school， riding along the street. Suddenly a car was running towards him.

The driver was so frightened that he knocked Jack down. Jack was hurt seriously. The driver got such a fright that he drove away quickly， leaving Tom helpless on the spot. Fortunately I saw what had happened and remembered the number of the car. I reported this to the police. Now the driver has been caught and will be punished for his wrong doing.
