約翰·鄧恩(john dunn，1572~1631 )， 是十七世紀(jì)英國玄學(xué)派詩人，為t·s艾略特特別推崇，于其中布羅茨基和這位久遠(yuǎn)年代的異國詩人 .曾在歐洲大陸游歷。也曾是宮廷中瀟灑倜儻、前途無量的紳士。1598年，他被任命為伊麗莎白宮廷中最重要的一位爵士的私人秘書。他的仕途似乎一片光明。鄧恩也能夠逢迎那些達(dá)官貴人。但是1601年，他的人生出現(xiàn)了重大轉(zhuǎn)折。他與一位17歲少女秘密結(jié)婚，由此毀了自己的大好仕途。

別離辭：莫悲傷
as virtuous men pass mildly away 正如賢人安然辭世
and whisper to their souls to go 輕聲呼喚靈魂離去
whilst some of their sad friends do say 悲傷的有人或傷逝
"now his breath goes," and some say "no" 嘆其氣絕魂離，亦又說不然
so let me melt, and make no noise 就讓我們悄然別離，不要喧嘩
no tear-floods, nor sigh-tempests move 不要淚涌如潮，不要凄聲嘆息
they were profanation of our joys 那是對(duì)我們歡樂的褻瀆
to tell the laity of our love 向俗人宣示我們的愛
moving of the earth brings harms and fears 地動(dòng)帶來傷害與恐懼
men reckon what it did, and meant 人們推其為斷其義
but trepidation of the spheres 而天體運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)震動(dòng)， 威力雖大
though greater far, is innocent 卻對(duì)什么都沒損傷
dull sublunary lovers' love 乏味的煩情俗愛

and grows erect, when that comes home 待它歸來，便挺直如舊
