dario: what do you think are the two most important things for being a good friend?

brian: that's a tough question dario.

dario: i know but you are so smart that i am sure you can answer it.

brian: well, the most important thing is honesty.

dario: can you give me an example?

brian: if your best friend asks you if his haircut is cool, but it isn't, you have to be honest.

dario: can't you just tell a small white lie so you don't hurt his feelings?

brian: no way! if friends can't be honest with each other, then who can?

dario: what is the second thing?

brian: generosity.

dario: so i have to give you everything that i own?

brian: that's right - and no trying to hide anything!

戴瑞奧：你認為當一個好朋友最重要的兩件事是什么？
布萊恩：這個問題可不容易回答戴瑞奧。
戴瑞奧：我知道不容易，可你那么聰明我相信你一定能回答出來。
布萊恩：好吧，最重要的事就是誠實。
戴瑞奧：你能給我舉個例子嗎？
布萊恩：如果你最好的朋友問你他的發(fā)型是不是很酷，可實際上并不酷，你就得老實告訴他。
戴瑞奧：你就不能撒一個小小的善意謊言嗎，這樣就不會傷害到他的感情。
布萊恩：不行！如果朋友之間都不能互相坦誠，那誰還能這么做？
戴瑞奧：第二件事是什么？
布萊恩：慷慨。
戴瑞奧：這么說我得把我所有的東西都給你了？
布萊恩：沒錯，別想隱藏任何東西！
