In some cities, individuals and companies are allowed to freely design houses and offices according to their own preferences. In my opinion, although such way of construction can give people a respect for self-expression, I believe security issues and urban planning are more vital, so the demerits exceed the benefits.

As for a company, constructing different houses and workplaces can well inform cooperators or partners about their exterior and interior styles or commercial goals. Such can actually be regarded as a marketing and promotion method，thus ultimately benefiting a company's profitability.
