sit可以用作動詞
sit的基本意思是“(使)坐”,引申可表示“(動物)蹲”“(鳥類)停落”“(照相或畫像時)擺好姿勢”“(在議會中)擔任職務(wù)”等。
sit主要用作不及物動詞,表示“坐著”的狀態(tài)。sit也可用作及物動詞,表示“使…坐下”,表示瞬間的動作,不可與表示一段時間的狀語連用。
sit還可用作系動詞,后接名詞、形容詞、過去分詞或現(xiàn)在分詞作表語。
