要求更多的是GRE詞匯,這是因?yàn)橥懈V皇菢?biāo)準(zhǔn)化語言考試,立足于學(xué)術(shù)場景下的語言能力考察,雖然也會(huì)涉及各類學(xué)科領(lǐng)域的專業(yè)詞匯考察,大多數(shù)詞匯還是比較基礎(chǔ)常用的單詞,而GRE是美國的研究生入學(xué)考試,對(duì)考生的詞匯量不僅有數(shù)量上的要求,對(duì)于一些核心詞匯還需要考生掌握詞匯辨析和實(shí)際運(yùn)用能力。

大部分參加GRE考試的考生都是為了出國留學(xué),而托福雅思同樣是出國留學(xué)必須參加的考試。他們的區(qū)別到底在哪里呢?簡單來說,GRE考試是一門綜合性質(zhì)的考試,英語語言只是考試依托的媒介和工具,真正考察的是考生應(yīng)對(duì)分析生階段學(xué)業(yè)所需的各類學(xué)術(shù)方面的技能,比如邏輯思維分析能力等等。而托福雅思則是比較單純的語言考試,考察的就是你對(duì)于英語語言的聽說讀寫能力。這也是為什么托福雅思有聽力口語部分,而GRE考試只有筆試的原因所在。
