　　女 士：像這樣的鞋子你們有嗎？

　　SALESMAN: What size?
　　售貨員：什么尺碼的？

　　Lady:  Size five.
　　女 士：5號的。

　　Salesman:   What colour?
　　售貨員：什么顏色？

　　Lady:   Black.
　　女 士：黑的

　　Salesman:   I’m sorry. We don't have it.
　　售貨員：對不起，我們沒有。

　　Lady:  But my sister bought this pair last month.
　　女 士：但是，我姐姐上個月買到了這樣的一雙。

　　Salesman:  Did she buy them here?
　　售貨員：她是在這兒買的嗎？

　　Lady: No, she bought them in the U.S.
　　女 士：不。她是在美國買的。

　　Salesman:   We had some shoes like those a month ago, but we haven’t any now.
　　售貨員：一個月前我們有這樣的鞋。但是現(xiàn)在沒有了。

　　Lady:   Can you get a pair for me please?
　　女 士：您能為我找一雙嗎？

　　Salesman:   I’m afraid that I can’t. They were in fashion last year and the year before last.
　　But they’re not in fashion this year.
　　售貨員：恐怕不行。這鞋在去年和前年時興，
　　而今年已不流行了。

　　Salesman:  These shoes are in fashion now.
　　售貨員：現(xiàn)在流行的是這種鞋子。

　　Lady:   They look very uncomfortable.
　　女 士：這種鞋子看上去很不舒適。

　　Salesman:   They are very uncomfortable. But women always wear uncomfortable shoes!

　　這個句子里的 like these是介詞短語作定語，修飾 shoes，意思是"像這樣的鞋子"。

　　2． What size? 什么尺碼的？
　　這是一個省略句，后面省略了 do you want。下文中的 What colour? 同樣也是省略句。 what size通常用來詢問服裝、鞋子、手套等的尺寸，即什么號碼：
　　What size do you wear?
　　你穿幾碼的？

　　3．They are very uncomfortable.的確很不舒適。
　　這個句子中的are用斜體表示強調(diào)，應(yīng)重讀。這里的強調(diào)表明了售貨員對女士所說的話的反感和憤怒。

　　一般過去時通常與表示確切的過去時間的短語連用。這些短語一般是 last+ 表示時間的名詞、一段時間+ago等。
